You are a star!
Running a small business is hard and you deserve praise for your hard-earned work.
Prompt Reviews’ mission is to put power back in the hands of small businesses by amplifying what they do best: serving others, building community, and solving problems.
At Prompt Reviews, we hope to inspire small businesses to rediscover the power of social proof and leverage technologies like AI to foster human connection (not to replace it).

Prompt Reviews is human first, AI assisted.
Instead of replacing humans, let’s use technology to connect and be more human.
Let’s not assume that just because we can, we should. Let’s show big tech what we actually value and what we would like to see changed.
If you use Prompt Reviews and like it, or have a suggestion, I’d love to hear from you. And if you have ideas about how to help small businesses thrive I’d definitely love to hear from you.

A little back story? Well, since you asked…
Having worked in digital marketing for (gulp) 20 years, I’ve become a bit frustrated with how large tech companies like Facebook and Google have monopolized our online experiences and made organic marketing (the kind of marketing that involves effort but not ad dollars) harder-and-harder to do.
The advent of AI has put tech companies in a desperate scramble for power and money, while the rest of of us just try to figure out how to keep the lights on while riding out economic turmoil.
I think a lot of people are nervous about their jobs and the future. So as I took a big leap from running an agency with my brother to doing consulting work, I kept comming back to the question of what works in marketing and what will continue to work in marketing as we navigate this sea change.
A Linkedin post by Amanda Natividad, particularly inspired me:

“It takes 3 minutes to help a small business thrive. Yet most of us never do it.”

She was talking about writing reviews, recommending small businesses to friends, and sharing posts—tiny actions that make a huge difference.
This struck me because it echoed a worry I have, that small businesses are facing an unprecedented number of existential threats. But the post also offered a clear way for us to fight back.
As a marketing consultant, tackling online reviews was often one of the first things I would work on with clients, and I knew from experience that most business owners have no idea how important reviews can be, or if they do, they don’t know how to get more.
Prompt Reviews is built on strategies that I’ve learned over the course of my career. Strategies that I know work as when you commit. And I didn’t have AI when I built these strategies, so they work with or without it.
So Prompt Reviews, It’s an app, but it also comes with some heart, experience, and strategy. And it comes with me! A nerdy neurodivergent dad in Portland, OR who wants to see small businesses succeed!
So if you dip your toes in and you’re not quite sure what to do next, drop me a line.
I’m here to help!
