A little back story? Well, since you asked…
Having worked in digital marketing for (gulp) 20 years, I’ve become concerned and frustrated with how large tech companies have monopolized our online experiences and made organic marketing (the kind of marketing that involves effort but not ad dollars) harder-and-harder to do.
The break-neck speed of AI has put tech companies in a desperate scramble for power and money, while the rest of us just try to figure out how to refactor our businesses amidst rising inflation.
I wanted to build something that could empower and strengthen small businesses during a time of rapid change and uncertainty.
A Linkedin post by Amanda Natividad, particularly inspired me:

She was talking about writing reviews, recommending small businesses to friends, and spreading the word about businesses you frequent—tiny actions that make a huge difference.
This struck me because it pointed out a pervasive blind spot in the way our culture takes small businesses for granted. It also made me wonder how small business owners could do a better job educating and inspiring their customers to support them.
Addressing online reviews is often one of the first things I tackle with clients as an SEO and marketing consultant. Over time, it’s become clear that many small business owners don’t fully understand the value of social proof—or how reviews can directly improve rankings and online visibility.
Prompt Reviews is founded on strategies that I’ve used over the course of my career to improve trust, positioning, and authority. Strategies that I know work because it was my job to make them work.
So yes, Prompt Reviews is an app, but it also comes with some heart, experience, and strategy.
Oh and it comes with me! A former agency executive, nerdy, neurodivergent dad, who loves helping entrepreneurs and small business thrive.
